Co-founders at Tuorlo Design Studio
Tuorlo Design Studio is a product and graphic design studio founded in 2016 in Florence by Jessica Russo and Kasia Nasilowska. Both graduated in industrial design at ISIA in Florence, we began our work experience designing ceramic collection, from concept to product development, for Alessio Sarri Ceramiche.
The Tuorlo’s design process finds energy and is nourished through reflections on the object conceived as a living element, a real inhabitant of the houses, a familiar figure and a friendly presence. We believe that there are images of everyday life imprinted in the common imagination and transversal to different types of culture, and we try to translate these images into products which are able to express themselves through material and shape.
We are specialized in branding and corporate identity design for luxury hotels and restaurants, combining graphic and product design to build an effective and strong brand identity, personalized for each customer. In 2018, Tuorlo Design Studio expanded to art direction for events and exhibitions related to the world of design. Furthermore, from September 2019, Tuorlo started managing Alessio Sarri Ceramiche’s art direction.
