President of Hong Kong Design Trade Association
Hong Kong Design Trade Association was founded in 2015 at the Hong Kong Registry as an non-profit making organization. With a fast growing speed, HKDTA organized “ Hong Kong Good Design “ pavilion ( supported by the BUD Fund of the HK Government) at the Canton Fair, GZ 2018 & 2019; also participated in many other events as co-organizer.
HKDTA provide solid platform to the HK design industries, communities and design brand owners. In 2019, the mainland government invited HKDTA to represent HKSAR to participate in the World Industrial Design Conference 2019 in Yantai. Also HKDTA organized a 180SQM “ Hong Kong Good Design “ pavilion at the concurrent Industrial Design World Expo which over 50 HK-design-products were presented to visitors from over 40 countries. In 2021 & 2022 HKDTA supported by the TSF Fund of the HK Government and organized “ Hong Kong Good Design “ pavilion at the Canton Fair, GZ.
Missions:
1/ Promote Hong Kong companies with own brands and various design services to open and explore the mainland China and international markets.
2/ Enhance the exchange and communication channels between members and various cities in the mainland China.
3/ Creates proper trade and matching platforms to assist members to explore and promote product marketing and design service channels.
4/ Enhance the quality and brand image of Hong Kong Design.
