Yacht Designer
Born and raised in Mallorca, Spain, known for the tradition of sailing and the extent boating industry. Started working on the family business, a marine company offering services in boat rental, sales, and maintenance. Worked in all areas, from skippering, selling in boat shows and repairing.
Achieved a diploma in Industrial Design Engineering at Elisava School of Design (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona) including a year-long internship at Bravo Yacht Design Group working on various projects from small to large leisure crafts.
Second diploma in Yacht & Powercraft Design (Naval Architecture) at the renowned Southampton Solent University. Whilst studying this course he started producing the first designs for ZAR Formenti and once the course ended he moved permanently to Milan to take over the design for the shipyard.
Being in Milan, to further develop his skills, he attended the Master in Transportation and Automobile Design at the prestigious Politecnico di Milano.
Since he started working for ZAR, he commanded the introduction of new and innovative designs to the various lines, creating the very successful ZAR Tender and Sport Luxury lines, aiding the shipyard to grow its distribution network from approximately 20 countries to over 60. All this growth has led the shipyard to develop a new maxi rib line which will be introduced in the autumn boat shows of 2021.
In 2013 he collaborated with Parema for the development of a series of luxury design products.
Since 2015 he started working as Design Director for the new ZAR Mini brand, producing aluminium ribs. The brand has now grown to be probably the biggest manufacture of aluminium ribs, producing close to 2000 boats anually.
Since 2018 he became the Head of Design for Canelli Yachts, designing a completely new line of innovative powerboats ranging from 29' to 43'.
Since 2020 he also became Head of Design of BMA Boats taking charge of the new designs, ranging 7-10m.
In 2021 he signed an agreement to develop a new brand of luxury powerboats to be introduced in 2022.
