Founder and Design Leader at Studio Rotella
Architect Fabio Rotella lives and works in Milan; after graduating in Architecture in Rome, he has his Master Degree in Industrial and Management Design at the Domus Academy in Milan in 1988/1989. From 1990 to 1995 he works at Atelier Mendini as a coordinator of architectural, design and event projects, where he starts his experience in art direction with important brands such as Swatch, Alessi, Bisazza.
In 1996 he establishes in Milan "Studio Rotella", a creative factory that focuses on architecture, design and professional advice to the companies. He realizes architectural and conceptual wide-ranging projects in Italy and abroad: from urban areas regeneration and industrial renovations, to hotels, restaurant and private villas projects.
He designs furniture and lighting system collections, and he collaborates with important Italian and foreign companies.
Over the years he becomes Art Director for different companies, designing products and collections, organizing cultural and art events.
Fabio Rotella’s elegant projects distinguish themselves thanks to the artistic and profoundly poetic imprint that brings them together, designed with the ultimate respect for the environment and society that are constantly changing in which we live in, offering new ideas for living the spaces and conceiving today’s architecture.
