Designer, Past President of International Council of Design / IcoD
David Grossman is a Past President of ICoD, the International Council of Design. He has lectured and served on juries in many countries and has organized and curated many design exhibitions and events. In recent years he has been active in developing the design industry infrastructure in China.
Of late he has been focusing on new perspectives on design history, the importance of professionalism in designing, the universality of design and the meaning of globalization, the need for design curricula evolution and the need for a more accurate design vocabulary.
He is an environmental graphic designer and has many years of experience as a practicing designer, educator and activist in the international design community. He was the first President of the Israel Community of Designers, Israel's national multidisciplinary professional design association and a Past President of Icograda.
