Designer and CEO Kuzmenko Design Studio
With over 15 years of professional experience in concept design, design development, project management and coordination of large- and small-scale projects, Kateryna is currently a Design Director at Longti Architectural Design Co., Ltd in Shanghai and responsible for leading the design team on multiple projects from exhibition / experiential centers, retail and residential interiors.
She Holds a B.S.- M.S. degrees in Interior Design and Architecture from the Pridneprovsk Academy of Architecture and a Graduate of Zaporizhzhya Art school, both in Ukraine where she won Silver Medal in the international art competition for children 10-12 y.o. in Iraq in 2002.
Before moving to Shanghai, Kateryna was founder and CEO of Kuzmenko Design Studio in Ukraine in 2008 where she was Chief Architect and team leader of the studio. The practice focused on commercial and residential architecture and interior design of various scales in Ukraine, Canada and Tajikistan.
She was involved as a volunteer with the Shanghai-Beijing Chapter of the American institute of Architects based in Shanghai, Kateryna organized the Networking program with events specializing in showcasing contemporary design issues between the building industry and the leading designers. Kateryna is also member of the IEEBC (The Investment & Economic Enterprises Business Community) and represents the Ukrainian chapter as a committee member.
