Founder & Design leader at Luciano Facchini Design
Luciano Facchini was born in Ravenna in 1970, where he studied illustration and began with concept design out of passion.
In 1996 he started to collaborate for various automotive magazines, where he designed various concepts including the Citroën Saxo and Renault Laguna. Also in these years he entered in the world of advertising creativity by joining one of the most famous international Italian Advertising and Marketing agencies as creative director, Max Information (Armando Testa group) where he remained until 2019, creating advertising campaigns and television advertising.
He also participated several times to the Cannes Festival of Creativity and won several advertising awards.
The passion for design was increasing, in 2005 he began his collaboration with Malaguti Moto where he worked as a consultant on the style of motorbikes and scooters. In 2011 he met Evotek Engineering, a leading company in the automotive and racing sector, and designed the first electric Smart with a futuristic design and then began the Formula 1 simulator’s project still runing, always as designer responsible for the style.
In 2015 Luciano Facchini Design was increasingly involved in high-level projects, launching the first concept yacht with cutting-edge lines and technologies, the 26-meter Aldebaran yacht and the 45-meter Aldebaran S. The success was recognized by many articles published in international magazines.
In 2019 he began his collaboration as a teacher at various Italian design and communication schools including the IAAD in Turin in the course of transportation design.
The work team of Luciano Facchini Design has expanded in recent years, increasing high-level professional resources from Brazil, Norway, the USA and Italy, involved in the development of composite materials, electronics and design.
In 2020, through Supertermoli Power Boat Greece, Luciano Facchini Design entered the military sector and started to develop the ST 60 interceptor and ST 50 drone’s projects, two fast motorboats with latest generation lines and electronics with performances deriving from Formula 1.
Development continues until 2023 where the two projects will be presented at Defea (Defense Exhibition Athens). The success of the project is immediate, and the military sector magazines give great importance to the potential of the two projects which will continue to be developed to seek financiers and increasingly advanced technologies and the use of artificial intelligence is also being evaluated.
Now according to the results, Luciano Facchini Design, additionnally to the scope to develop new increasingly high-level projects with other countries and new partners, and find new synergies, there is also the intention of entering even more in technological sectors, such as space sector, certainly a very fast growing sector.
