Tiago is a Portuguese Industrial Designer passionate about meaningful ideas that connect people and drive innovation. In 2019 he found X-LAB the Innovation department of TCL Digital Technology in Shenzhen, China. X-LAB it’s a user-centric and multidisciplinary innovation lab, with the purpose to add value to customers, to the planet, and increase TCL's future commercial competitiveness.
With the usage of innovative methodologies and by mastering design thinking and strategy, Tiago and his team have been incubating new value propositions and implementing concepts into TCL’s new product pipeline.
Previously, Tiago contributes to raising the TCL Industrial Design Center output quality by designing award-winning products delighting customers and positively impacting TCL business performance.
As a global spokesperson, Tiago is accountable communicate TCL messages, and made it so, at TCL's major's product Launches, IFA in Berlin, Germany, the CES in Las Vegas, the US, and Tokyo Japan.
Tiago has 10 years of experience practicing and exploring the values of Design in different consumer fields through Lisbon, Milan, Barcelona, Guangzhou, and currently Shenzhen.
Tiago is a dedicated, creative professional who is restless in the search for meaningful product-consumer experiences, and he loves to empower workgroups, creating environments that promote creativity with purpose.
