CEO & design leader at Verme Projects
Engineer Verme began his activity in Yacht Design in February 1995 as a structural engineer, carrying out finite element structural calculations and 3D surface modeling. He collaborated for a long time with Andrea Bacigalupo as an external design studio and then, with the new millennium, the foundations were laid for the construction of a team of designers.
Involved in two challenging ISA projects and fascinated by yacht styling, Massimo Verme began to outline his style ideas, registering in 2004 the basic shape of one of the stylistic elements of his brand.
The PerMare Group chooses Verme Projects as designer for the development of a new range of yachts and the concept of integrated design takes shape in this first successful project.
The collaboration with the Azimut-Benetti group then begins, providing design and participating fully to the productive development of new projects, in parallel with the Ferretti Engineering Department for Custom Line. From this phase onwards the studio works simultaneously in Europe, the USA and China, providing its services for various shipyards in Italy and abroad.
